silly pup.

It's official Bella Blue is a diva.

She recently discovered the patio and loves it. So much, she sits at the door and plays in the blinds waiting for me to let her out. Now most dogs would probably play with their toys, lay on the cool patio floor when out there. Oh no, not Miss Bella Blue. This little lady was caught out there on her own sitting in the patio chairs just resting. Apparently the floor just won't do. It got to the point where I was working while siting next to her while she lounged in the chair chewing her bone.

 

Someone might be a little rotten.

 I guess it comes naturally when you spend your days snuggled up while your mom works.

for those of you who don't know, we got a puppy last november.

best decision post marriage yet.

after 7 years of beggining for an english bulldog, somehow i finally convinced the husband. 

since i started working from home in may after moving to franklin, i have been dying to get a puppy. but not just any puppy. i wanted an english bulldog, or a mini-lola as i referred to it.

please note that if you're considering getting an english bulldog to read up on them first. i had researched the breed for years before deciding. 

they can have some health issues, but i am proud to report my bella is a healthy little girl :)

so on sunday, november 6th i got puppy fever (thanks pintrest) once again. 

i overloaded zach with begging (it was pitiful).

we had talked about this on and off since we got married.
we both love dogs but didn't know if it was the right time to get a puppy.
however, what better time than when you can be home all day! so after getting fever, i started searching for puppies and ran across sweet bella online. i had called several people who had puppies listed, but all were gone. i was sure with as pretty as she was there was no hope.
at first i got an e-mail with one puppies photos, she was cute to but not nearly bella. then just like that the lady clarified she had 2 females and 1 male. one of which was bella! after a long day of e-mails back a forth, we setup a meeting that night just across the tennessee line in kentucky to go get our pup. when we first saw her she of course went running up to zach, sealing the deal.
my first time to kentucky and i came back with the sweetest and most adoring pup in the world.

as for the name, you can thank the lady we got her from and my mom.
she was already named bella before we got her
then when trying to come up with her registered name my mom mentioned blue.
scarlett o'hara had her bonnie blue and this scarlett has her bella blue.

well hello there long lost friend.

I have blogging commitment issues. Whatever part of my brain that tells me when I blog or workout, appears to be slightly dysfunctional. Or maybe its just the slight ADD.

I'm good at updating a page header hear and there, but to actually blog...now that's another story.

So, I am attemptig to set a goal for myself. As I turn 24, to start capturing life a little better. Whether that be through photos, blog, etc... here's to trying.
